Emerging leaders urged to join Leadership Charlevoix County

Why Leadership Charlevoix County?
  
  • Over the 9 months, participants are given an overview of Charlevoix County, "a taste" of the community in which they live, work and play. 
  • Beginning with the first session, we get right to work learning about how to improve your interactions with others and understand team dynamics.  
  • Sessions are immersive community outings, mixed with classroom work, highlighting opportunities, strengths and challenges in Charlevoix County.  
  • Monthly, participants meet and engage with county professionals, both as session leaders, presenters or as part of the mentor program. The connections they make will service them far beyond the nine month program.  
  • A condition of graduation is to complete a Community Service Project (CSP). This includes working together as a team (class) to identify a need in Charlevoix County and execute the project from selection/execution to completion.  
**Seats are limited, tuition is $1200 for the full course and includes materials, meals and other program costs.
